Dental Emergencies
Sometimes playtime can turn into a dental emergency in the blink of an eye. But we've got your back! We offer emergency appointments to get your child out of pain and back to doing what they do best- being a kid!
When To CALL for emergency care
We encourage you to call our office at the first sign that something is wrong so that we can help your child feel happy and healthy again. From toothaches to chipped teeth, we are here to provide emergency care for your little one.
If a baby tooth is knocked out (avulsed), do not try to place it back in the mouth. Replanting a primary tooth can lead to the risk of damaging the developing permanent tooth.
Unlike a baby tooth that is knocked out, adult teeth should be placed back into the socket as soon as possible. Touch only the crown of the tooth (not the root!) to minimize injury to the root. If the tooth is dirty, gently rinse the tooth with water only. Do not scrub or dry the tooth, and keep the tooth hydrated at all times. If it can't be replaced in the socket, keep the tooth in milk, in your mouth next to your cheek, or in an emergency tooth preservation kit (such as Save-a-Tooth).
